The mission of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS) is to advance the study of neurogastroenterology, gastrointestinal motility, and related enteric sciences, promote the training of basic scientists and clinician investigators, translate the scientific advances to patient care, and to disseminate knowledge to patients and caregivers to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
